Roles and Responsibilities:

- **Scheduling Appointments**: Efficiently manage appointment schedules, ensuring optimal allocation of time slots while accommodating patient needs and physician availability.
- **Maintaining Patient Records**: Oversee accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, including personal details, medical history, and treatment plans, adhering to privacy regulations.
- **Providing Customer Service**: Offer friendly and professional assistance to patients, visitors, and staff, addressing inquiries, providing directions, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at the reception area.
- **Answering Questions**: Serve as a reliable point of contact for patients and their families, promptly responding to queries regarding appointments, procedures, and general hospital information..
- **Processing Payments**: Handle payment transactions accurately and securely, collecting co-payments, processing insurance claims, and reconciling financial records in compliance with billing procedures.
- **Transcribing Physician Notes**: Assist in transcribing and organizing physician notes and dictations, ensuring clarity and completeness for inclusion in patient records and medical documentation.
- **Maintaining the Reception Area**: Keep the reception area clean, organized, and well-stocked with informational materials, ensuring a professional and inviting environment for patients and visitors.
- **Identifying Administrative Issues**: Proactively identify and address administrative challenges or inefficiencies, proposing solutions and collaborating with supervisors and colleagues to optimize front office operations.
- **Relating Documents**: Manage the intake, distribution, and filing of various documents, including medical forms, referrals, and correspondence, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality throughout the process.
