Patient Care Coordinator

Job description:
- **Coordinate Doctor Appointments**: Schedule and manage patient appointments with doctors and specialists, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery.
- **Pre-Surgery Planning**: Assist patients in preparing for surgeries by providing information on medical procedures, arranging necessary pre-operative tests, and coordinating consultations with the medical team.
- **Post-Surgery Care Coordination**: Support patients in managing post-surgery care, including follow-up appointments, medication plans, and rehabilitation schedules.
- **Dietary and Care Plans**: Collaborate with doctors and nutritionists to provide patients with personalized diet plans and ongoing care guidelines tailored to their medical conditions and recovery needs.
- **Admission and Discharge Process**: Guide patients through the hospital admission and discharge processes, ensuring all paperwork, consents, and procedures are handled efficiently.
- **Billing and Payment Assistance**: Assist patients with billing inquiries, insurance claims, and payment plans, ensuring they understand their financial responsibilities and options.
- **Patient Education**: Provide patients with clear and comprehensive information regarding their medical conditions, treatment options, and procedures, helping them make informed decisions.
- **Liaison Between Doctors and Patients**: Act as a communication bridge between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring all patient concerns and questions are addressed in a timely manner.
- **Crisis Management**: Offer support and guidance to patients and their families during critical situations, ensuring they remain informed and reassured throughout their treatment journey.
- **Customer Service and Public Relations**: Build positive relationships with patients by delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a welcoming environment, and responding to feedback and concerns.
- **Record Keeping and Documentation**: Maintain accurate patient records, including appointment schedules, medical histories, billing information, and follow-up care notes.
- **Compliance with Healthcare Regulations**: Ensure that all patient interactions and administrative tasks comply with healthcare laws, regulations, and confidentiality standards
