We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic **Commis Chef** to join our culinary team. As a Commis Chef, you will work under the guidance of senior chefs to assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene, and ensure high culinary standards are upheld. This is an excellent opportunity to develop core kitchen skills and grow within a professional kitchen environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of a variety of dishes.
- Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of all food items.
- Prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to senior staff.
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Support kitchen operations during service hours with speed and precision.
- Receive and store kitchen supplies as needed.
- Assist in minimizing kitchen wastage and maintaining portion control.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is a plus but not mandatory.
- Culinary training or diploma is desirable but not required.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift moderately heavy items.
