Office Assistant

**Job Summary**
- Recordkeeping, Responsible for maintaining office filing and recordkeeping systems, enters, edits, and retrieves data.
- Processes forms such as expenditure claims, employee attendance sheets, bank deposit forms, outward courier distribution logs, purchase requisitions and maintains databases, records, confidential files and other related information.
- Document Preparation, Produces letters, memos, spreadsheets, and agendas, rough draft, requisitions and other documents, or oral instructions
- Communication with Customer, and routes telephone calls, conveys information both orally and in writing, answers inquiries from clients/office staff
- Acts as office receptionist greeting and directing clients, schedules and coordinates meetings for superiors
- Answer phones Calls and transfer to the appropriate staff member
**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**
- A typical qualifying background would include experience working in an Office environment involving public contacts.
- Previous office experience may be requested but this can also be entry level position
- Knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, spelling, basic mathematics, numeracy and literacy skills
- Knowledge of Standard types of office filing systems, standard office equipment
**Education**:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Microsoft Office, Tally: 1 year (preferred)
- Office Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
