Drug Safety Associate

As a Drug Safety Associate (ICSR), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by monitoring and analyzing adverse event reports for pharmaceutical products. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about pharmacovigilance and eager to contribute to the healthcare industry.

**Responsibilities**:*
- Receive and process individual case safety reports (ICSRs) from various sources, including healthcare professionals, consumers, and clinical studies.
- Perform initial assessment of incoming ICSRs to determine seriousness, expectedness, and causality.
- Enter relevant information from ICSRs into safety databases accurately
- Conduct follow-up activities, including contacting reporters for additional information and clarifications as needed.
- Ensure all adverse event reports are processed and documented according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of expedited and periodic safety reports to regulatory authorities.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of pharmacovigilance processes and procedures.

**Qualifications**
- B.Pharm, M.Pharm passouts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling large volumes of data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with safety databases is a plus.
