The F&B Associate is responsible for assisting in the smooth operation of the food and beverage department. This includes serving guests, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and helping with food and drink preparation. The role involves working in various food and beverage outlets such as restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service, ensuring that guests receive top-notch service and have an enjoyable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Guest Service**:
- Greet guests warmly and courteously, and assist them in their dining experience.
- Take food and drink orders, provide menu recommendations, and answer questions about the menu or specials.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
- Ensure that all guest requests and needs are met promptly and to their satisfaction.
- Assist guests with any special dietary requirements or preferences.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns effectively, escalating to the supervisor if necessary.
- **Food and Beverage Preparation and Presentation**:
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages according to hotel standards.
- Ensure that all items served are fresh, of high quality, and accurately prepared.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in food and beverage preparation areas.
- Check that all beverages are prepared to the correct specifications and served with the appropriate garnishes and accompaniments.
- **Table Service**:
- Set up and arrange tables, ensuring that all necessary items (e.g., silverware, glasses, condiments) are available and properly arranged.
- Clear and clean tables after guests have finished their meals, reset for the next guest, and ensure the dining area is kept clean and tidy.
- Ensure a comfortable dining experience by addressing guest needs during their meal, such as refilling drinks or providing additional condiments.
- **Cashiering and Billing**:
- Process guest orders and payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Present bills to guests and handle cash, credit cards, or other payment methods securely.
- **Hygiene and Cleanliness**:
- Follow strict hygiene and safety standards in the handling, preparation, and serving of food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and service stations.
- Adhere to food safety regulations, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other F&B associates to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Communicate guest requests or special needs to relevant departments.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service during busy periods.
- **Stock and Inventory Management**:
- Assist in managing inventory of food and beverage items, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Notify supervisors of low stock or expired items, and assist in restocking supplies when necessary.
- **Banquet and Event Service**:
- Assist with setting up and serving food and drinks for events such as banquets, conferences, or weddings.
- Ensure that event-specific requirements, such as table arrangements or dietary preferences, are met.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
