Quantity Surveyor for Commercial Interiors

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare, review, and finalize **Bills of Quantities (BOQ)**, cost estimates, and material take-offs for commercial interior projects.
- Conduct **tendering processes**, including floating enquiries, analyzing quotations, negotiating with vendors/subcontractors, and finalizing contracts.
- Monitor project budgets, prepare **cash flow forecasts**, and ensure cost control against allocated budgets.
- Conduct **site measurements** and validate contractor bills, progress claims, and payment certificates.
- Evaluate **variations, change orders, and claims**, ensuring they are documented, justified, and approved.
- Maintain **cost reports, MIS, and project financial records** for management review.
- Liaise with project managers, designers, procurement, and contractors to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Provide **value engineering solutions** to optimize project costs without compromising on quality or design intent.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, statutory regulations, and company policies.

**Key Skills & Competencies**
- Strong knowledge of **commercial interiors, fit-outs, finishes, and MEP works**.
- Proficiency in **MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software/tools**.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and numerical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communicator with good written and verbal communication skills.
- **Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in **Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management**.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in **commercial interior/fit-out projects**.
