**Job Summary**:A Quantity Surveyor (QS) plays a crucial role in the construction industry, focusing on managing and controlling costs throughout a project’s lifecycle. Here are some key responsibilities and duties typically associated with said role of job:
**Job Specification**

**Desired Skills**:

- **Educational Background**: A bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering and a course in quantity surveying or a related field.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess costs and manage budgets.
- **Construction Knowledge**: Sound knowledge of construction methodologies and regulations.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to organize, plan, and strategize effectively.

**Competence & Expertise**:

- Good knowledge in studying drawing and preparation detailed measurements of Civil, Bar Bending Schedule (BBS)
- Pre & Post Contract project experience.
- Aware of IS codes and other standards related to QS.
- Software Skill AutoCAD, MS word and MS Excel Required.
- Capable of working in coordination with other services.
- Responsible for correctness, accuracy of measurements and documents prepared and timely delivery of the assignments
- Co-ordination with client /contractors/ Consultant
- Good working knowledge of standard Forms of Measurement.
- Good IT skills - Auto Cad, Word and Excel
- Good Communication/Writing Skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed measurement and estimation based on drawings for Structure, civil interiors & External development.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings and specifications
- Preparation of Bar Bending schedules of Civil Structures
- Evaluate all parameters and prepare Reconciliation reports, Progress / QS Report.
- Prepare Rate Analysis of Civil and Architectural Finishes Items
- Assist to Manger in quantity estimation.
- Estimation of large and high-rise residential projects.
- Manage and implement billing process and ensure the documentation
- Tender management including preparation of bills of quantities, contract conditions and assembly of tender documents
- Contract management and contractual advice
- Valuation of construction work

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
