They are responsible for generating leads, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales goals. Key responsibilities of an Outside Sales Associate: Generating leads and building a sales pipeline: Identifying potential customers and qualifying leads to create a steady stream of opportunities. Building and maintaining relationships with customers: Establishing trust and rapport with clients through face-to-face interactions and follow-up. Providing product or service demonstrations and presentations: Educating customers about the features and benefits of the products or services they are selling. Negotiating and closing sales: Persuading customers to purchase products or services and securing contracts.
