**Roles and Responsibilities**

Role - Credit Risk Officer

Work from Home /Office both options available -Flexible working hours.

Office location: Pune.

Experience - 10 -15 Years

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for assessing and monitoring credit risk and quality of the portfolio including the assignment of accurate credit ratings to individual companies and the prevention of defaults.
- Build out the broader credit team and establish sound credit risk policies and procedures to ensure timely and accurate analysis and reporting.
- Monitor financial condition of clients, prepare credit memos and financial models, identify early warning signs of credit profile deterioration, and take necessary actions to prevent defaults
- Respond to inquiries from various internal teams regarding credit related matters, assist in structuring business to reduce credit risk, and ensure adequate pricing of business for risk
- Supervise and mentor credit risk associates including reviewing work and providing timely feedback and coaching to ensure their continued development and best in class execution
- Participate with ad hoc special projects for the team or region as needed

Does this sound like you?
- Advanced degree in finance or business and CFA or FRM preferred
- 10+ years of credit experience in a bank, rating agency, buy-side asset manager, or equivalent credit experience
- Experience analysing multiple industries in both investment grade and sub-investment grade space
- Strong analytical skills and detailed understanding of credit structures and contracting
- High-energy personality with a desire to proactively create opportunities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, managerial, and communication skills and ability to collaborate with all levels of staff
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills
- Keen interest in contributing to environmental sustainability and green energy
