**Job Description - Compliance Officer**

**Objectives of this role**
- Developing, implementing and enforcing procedures and policies to ensure the organization's compliance with industry and government regulations.
- Consistent risk assessments to recognize areas where the company might be vulnerable to non-compliance.
- Working with other departments in the company such as finance departments, to ensure compliance of all departments.

**Responsibilities**
- Suggest/advise the management regarding the implementation of compliance programs
- Accountable for ensuring all the essential guidelines are put in proper place accurately adhering to industry rules and regulations
- Conduct internal audits and reviews at regular intervals to ensure that compliance procedures are regularly followed
- Sign off on any marketing and advertising collateral to ensure it is compliance
- Perform compliance audits to determine whether establish protocols are being followed and where they can be improved
- Maintain up to date written documentation and policies related to the organization's business activities
- Create compliance resource library for staff members to reference when they have questions

**Required skills and qualifications**
- A bachelor's degree in finance, law, business administration or a related field.
- Thorough knowledge of the industry standards, laws and regulations in India.
- Demonstrable experience in compliance and risk management.
- Knowledge of financial crime and anti-money laundering regulations.
- Familiarity with developing and executing compliance management techniques.
- Experience in conducting audits and investigations and providing relevant strategies.

**Preferred skills and qualifications**
- Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and requirements in India.
- Relevant professional certifications like Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM).
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Willingness to work in a team and lead them as required.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 per month
