Flatirons Solutions is looking for a **Process Excellence Associate** in our **Chennai, India** office. Are you passionate about driving business performance by using a systematic approach?

The Process Excellence Associate will be part of the Operational Excellence team, which is responsible for driving effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance throughout the entire company. We don’t tell teams what to do. We are here to help what teams do, better

**We are looking for someone who**:

- Has a passion and track record for improving business performance
- Encourages a risk-based approach to proactively prevent or reduce undesired effects.
- Can utilize various standards and methodologies to drive results, such as IS0 9001, Lean, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Can help deploy a continual improvement strategy at an organizational level
- Has strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
- Has excellent communication skills and puts their customers first (internal or external).
- Is self-motivated, can work independently, and operates with a high level on integrity
- Can travel internationally.

**What you will do all day**:

- Assist all departments, functions, and teams to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Assist in bringing process compliance across all departments, functions, and teams.
- Assist the organization in implementing and monitoring the Business Management System (BMS), the Supplier Management System (SMS), and continual improvement methodology by providing information, awareness, guidance, coaching, and training.
- Support with the communication, training, and awareness of employee responsibilities, and ensure the organization adheres to the requirements and processes
- Define, collect, report, analyze and act upon quality requirements and key performance indicators (KPI) for the BMS and SMS
- Plan and conduct the ISO 9001-based internal audits and drive improvements
- Ensure suppliers and contractors are managed and records are maintained per the SMS
- Work with the technical account managers to gather and measure the voice of the customer and Net Promoter Score (NPS)

**What you need to know (experience requirements)**:

- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business, Quality Management, Quality Assurance
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field of ISO/Quality Management, Continual process improvement, and Agile/SDLC methodologies
- Experience with maintaining and improving global business management systems
- Experience with quality principles and all aspects of a quality management system (QMS) based on ISO 9001 and the ability to train others on the requirements
- Experience using continual improvement tools and methodologies, and able to train others on items such as:

- Lean
- Six Sigma
- Agile
- Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)
- Net Promoter Score and voice of the customer
- Visual management.

**What will set you apart**:

- Experience or skills as a software engineer, software quality engineer, or related field
- Experience within the aerospace industry
- Experience with aerospace technical publications (maintenance manuals)
- Certifications:

- ASQ Certification (e.g., CMQ/OE, CQA, CSQE, CSQP)
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (CSSBB)
- SAFe Certification (e.g., CSA, CSSM, CSP)
