The Business Manager role gives the individual the opportunity to play a key role in EC Leadership team. The Business Manager is the chief-of-staff of the EC Leader, supporting strategic activity and alignment, on behalf of the Leader, across the business and with business partners to ensure subsidiary goals are achieved. The role reports to EC Leader.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive Rhythm-Of-the Business orchestration and facilitation
- Drive ROB planning and execution of EC LT meetings including agenda and content
- Work closely with India and Corp Stakeholders for QBCs, ERs and other Corp meetings, EC Meetings (including Kick off, Monthly Townhalls)
- Work closely with Functional teams (Finance, HR, CELA) to drive key functional milestones
- In partnership with India communications team, work to ensure effective communication to internal and external stakeholders
- Work with the EC LT and other leaders across the EOU team to drive the One-Microsoft India agenda
- For all action items, drive planning, preparation, execution and follow-up with all business and functional teams
- Business Manager - EC Team agenda and engagements
- End to end content ownership (design, preparation and delivery) for external events and meetings (customer / partner / influencers) of ECL
- Build analytics and insights to deliver impactful business outcomes from all engagements
- Deliver end-to-end impactful visits of senior executives that advance our strategy and key business objectives
- Support ECL, Microsoft India on other Key Projects
- Work closely with GSMO India Area LT members on specific transformational projects.
- Serve as Project Lead or Project Manager for strategic projects.
**Qualifications**:
- A combination of an engineering / technology degree plus MBA
- High on executive presence, ability to lead via influence, collaboration and building credibility
- Good at working in a matrixed environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience of working in an agile environment with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to travel extensively to drive external and internal engagements across India.
- Minimum 12+ years relevant experience
- Experience in Marketing/Partner/Sales/technology/Start-up roles is highly desired
- People management experience, especially in Microsoft is highly desired
