
Guest Relations Executive

**Position Overview**:
A Guest Relationship Executive holds a crucial position, dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences. Acting as a bridge between the restaurant and its clients, they cater to guests' needs and preferences, ensuring their satisfaction. Their responsibilities range from warmly welcoming guests to addressing concerns, providing information about available services, and quickly resolving any issues that may arise. Furthermore, they proactively anticipate and fulfil guest requests, striving to exceed expectations at every opportunity. Cultivating strong relationships with guests and prioritising their contentment is their primary focus, leading to favourable reviews, repeat business, and overall success for the restaurant. Additionally, they may collaborate with management to develop strategies for enhancing guest satisfaction and loyalty.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Extend a warm and friendly greeting to arriving guests and ensure they feel welcomed upon entering the restaurant.
- Escort guests to their designated tables and assist with seating arrangements as needed, ensuring their comfort.
- Act as a primary point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively seeking opportunities to enhance their experience.
- Offer recommendations and assist guests in making informed choices about menu selections.
- Inform guests about daily specials, promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance their experience and encourage further exploration of the restaurant's offerings.
- Engage with guests to encourage them to explore additional menu options or experiences beyond their initial orders.
- Accurately record food and beverage orders from customers and promptly relay them to the kitchen staff for preparation.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently, collaborating with management to address any issues.
- Monitor and manage table turnover to maximise seating capacity and optimise guest flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining area, including promptly resetting tables after guests depart.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with guests.
**Qualifications**:
- Ability to effectively interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner, both verbally and written.
- Dedication to providing exceptional service, understanding and addressing guest needs and concerns quickly and effectively.
- Capacity to resolve guest issues and complaints efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude and demeanour.
- Ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with guests, fostering loyalty and satisfaction.
- Aptitude for maintaining accurate guest records, tracking preferences, and ensuring personalised service.
