Roles and Responsibilities Candidate shall be a part of credit team in the capacity of Area Credit Head for West (which caters to Maharashtra, Central) for Relationship Banking (RBG) Group and TDF andwill be based at Mumbai. RBG Business under Commercial Banking at Kotak Mahindra Bank caters to all the working capital requirements of Commercial Vehicles / Construction Equipment (Infrastructure) / Dealer Finance segments. TDF business caters to funding requirements of Auto / Tractor dealers in rural / semi urban regions.To provide sound, independent (unsolicited) credit advice, recommendations and quality feedback onCommercial Vehicles / Construction Equipment (Infrastructure) / Dealer Financecredit proposals.Handling all types of working capital facilities (Fund base and Non-fund based limit)Credit appraisal including financial analysis to understand the solvency, liquidity position and repayment capacity of the entity, preparation of appraisal notes, credit checks etc.As per Approval Authorizations, presenting the proposal to various sanctioning forums and get it sanctioned from approving authority satisfying all their queries.Meeting Customer and making Site visits at factory/office/residence of the client, viewing the working capacities of the business, inventory and working environment of the business.To interact with approving authority and provide them with required information for better decision making and engaging in regular discussions to give them an independent view of the credit / economic developments.To monitor and manage credit portfolio and other risks on a proactive basis by having an in-depth knowledge on individual credit-takers. Engage in discussions with the business to modify account strategy / credit rating, etc. as warranted.Manage and ensure timely renewal of accounts and enhancement of portfolio.To align decision making with business requirements without compromising on quality of decision making or compromising on laid down policies by engaging in regular discussions with the business teams.To contribute in central projects and also interact with vendors and external agencies for providing support in digital business solution & IT teams to develop scalable reporting/decision support toolsMaintenance of various MIS/ compliance related records and providing it to the authorities from time to time.Excellent written and oral communication skillsChartered Accountant / MBA with an experience of credit underwriting and also leading credit team with an experience of at least 6-8 yrsExperience of team managementGood analytical skillsGood understanding of all the working capital products
