Job Summary:

The

Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for assisting in the development

and execution of sales strategies, maintaining customer relationships, and

supporting the sales team in achieving targets. The role involves coordinating

sales efforts, analyzing market trends, and contributing to the growth and

profitability of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales

Support: Assist the Sales Manager in driving sales strategies to achieve team

goals. Support the team by providing necessary tools, information, and

resources to optimize sales performance.

Customer

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key

customers and prospects. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through

effective communication and timely support.

Lead

Generation: Identify new business opportunities and help generate leads. Work

with the sales team to convert leads into customers.

Sales

Reporting: Assist in tracking sales data, preparing reports, and analyzing

sales performance. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement based

on sales analytics.

Team

Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth operations and

alignment with company goals. Train and mentor junior sales staff when

necessary.

Product

Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and services,

industry trends, and competitor activities to effectively position the company

in the marketplace.

Market

Research: Conduct market research to identify potential new markets, customers,

and sales channels. Provide feedback and ideas for product development and

service improvements.

Sales

Presentations & Demonstrations: Assist in preparing and delivering sales

presentations, product demonstrations, and promotional materials to clients and

prospects.

Administrative

Tasks: Handle sales-related administrative duties such as processing orders,

updating CRM systems, and maintaining sales records.
