Our client is a market leader in the heavy manufacturing industry. With a global reach, the company is recognized for its commitment to advanced technologies and sustainable solutions. They are looking to hire a Director - Operations to manage 500Cr+ business.

Job Description

The major responsibilities of this position includes:

Providing strategic leadership to the site, ensuring that all operations, from manufacturing and supply chain to maintenance and support functions, are running smoothlyDriving efficiency improvements and cost reduction initiatives, ensuring that the site meets or exceeds its financial and operational targetsActing as the lead problem-solver in times of crisis, whether it's a supply chain disruption, production delay, or team conflict. Providing direction and guidance to resolve complex issues quickly and effectivelyWorking closely with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and strategies. Engaging with customers, suppliers, and senior management to support business needs and strengthen relationships.

The Successful Applicant

An ideal candidate is a full time engineer with 20+ years of total experience and 5+ years in a Plant Manager or senior leadership capacity. They must be adept in managing end to end plant operations which must include both manufacturing as well as supply chain in an automotive or heavy manufacturing industry. They must have handled manufacturing of complex products with 1500+ sub components. They should have great communication and people management skills.
