Marketing & Communications Director

The Marketing & Communications Director oversees the development and implementation of marketing strategies, manages department operations, and ensures effective execution of all marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, oversee, and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies.
  • Lead a team in implementing monthly and annual marketing plans.
  • Identify and pursue new marketing opportunities, collaborations, and partnerships to drive business growth.
  • Approve and review all creative artwork and promotional materials for timely and accurate delivery.
  • Maintain a consistent brand image internally and externally through strategic promotions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and integrate relevant ideas into the strategy.
Public Relations & Media:
  • Manage media relations in collaboration with the Assistant Marketing Manager.
  • Act as primary contact for media, external clients, and internal leadership.
  • Coordinate media visits, press releases, photo shoots, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Oversee press databases, digital libraries, and media coverage reporting for informed decision-making.
  • Support media outreach initiatives, interviews, and community engagement activities.
  • Maintain timely updates on property websites and marketing channels.
Departmental Leadership:
  • Serve as Department Head (HOD), overseeing operations and team performance.
  • Assign projects, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Onboard, train, and guide new team members and interns to ensure seamless integration.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders (GMs, Sales Leaders, Finance Directors) and provide reports during regular marketing meetings.
  • Ensure hotel facilities, features, and promotions are well communicated across marketing platforms.
