About the Role

A leading law firm is seeking Senior Associates with 4–6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join its Banking & Finance practice in Mumbai and Delhi. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly experienced team specializing in banking and finance, projects, and insolvency & stressed assets transactions. The ideal candidates will have strong transactional experience and a keen interest in handling complex financing matters and infrastructure projects across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including loan agreements, bond deeds, framework agreements, and EPC contracts. Assisting in large-scale project finance transactions involving power, road, oil & gas, and infrastructure sectors. Conducting legal due diligence on infrastructure projects and identifying project-related risks. Advising promoters, project developers, and lenders on various aspects of project finance and related transactions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. Handling transactions related to stressed assets and insolvency matters.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

LL.B. from a recognized university. 4–6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Banking & Finance, Project Finance, or related practice areas. Strong transactional and drafting skills. Experience working with financial institutions, lenders, and project developers. Understanding of regulatory frameworks related to banking and finance. Excellent communication and client management skills.
