We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Quality Assurance team. You will be responsible for building and managing a team of talented QA engineers, defining and implementing our QA strategy, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.


You will have the opportunity to:

Responsibilities will include:-

Problem Solving:

-Proactively identify and analyze complex technical challenges related to software quality and relevant business deliveries.

-Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve testing processes and efficiency. * Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.

-Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing.


People Management

-Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of QA engineers.

-Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

-Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training and development opportunities for team members.

-Delegate tasks effectively and empower team members to take ownership.

● Quality Assurance Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with business goals and industry best practices.

● Test Automation: Drive the development and implementation of automated testing frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.

● Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing QA team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

● Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize QA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

● Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and operations.

● Product Quality : Ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet or exceed customer expectations.


Qualification & Experience

● Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

● 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance.

● 2+ years of experience managing a team of QA engineers.


Skills & know-how

● Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), software testing life cycles (STLC) and Agile methodologies.

● Extensive experience in various testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, gray-box, functional, regression and nonfunctional testing.

● Strong knowledge in OOPS and JAVA.

● Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Rest Assured, BDD, Selenium, Appium, playwright, JMeter).

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.

● Ability to create manage and own testing environments

● Familiarity with different databases, and cloud platforms.

● Ability to define, write and review testing scope, test cases, and bug reports.

● Understanding of Devops processes, Cloud infra management would be a plus.
