LEAD Group was founded in 2012 in Mumbai. We partner with Private K-12 Schools across the country, providing them academic and technology products that visibly improve their student’s learning. Vision:
By 2028, LEAD will provide propulsive learning to 25 million students across 60,000 schools in India. School Ed-Tech:
LEAD is the leading school ed-tech company in the country. While most consumer ed-tech has been focused on supplemental education, outside the formal school system, LEAD is transforming in-school learning. There are approximately 270 million school going students in the country, each spending 6+ hours everyday at school. The opportunity to impact core education and student learning outcomes here is much larger and deeper. The company now has a portfolio of products that provide customized solutions for different consumer segments.
LEAD has a proven track record of outcomes across all stakeholders – students, teachers, parents and schools. For students, our multi-modal way of teaching and personalized learning by understanding their areas of improvement has reduced learning gaps and improved scores significantly. For teachers, we simplify their lives through tech based solutions that enable better monitoring of student performance and tracking of classes while upskilling them through workshops with education experts and continuous feedback. For parents, we enable higher visibility into their children’s performance and content that they are exposed to through a dedicated module on the student app.
Investors:
The Company has raised a total of US$173 Million in funding through five rounds. Key investors include Elevar Equity, Westbridge Capital, and GSV Ventures. In Jan 2022, LEAD raised $100 M (Series E) led by Westbridge Capital and GSV Ventures.

Purpose of the Job:
Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
● Drive governance on critical human resource metrics such as retention, engagement; cost for a fast paced business.
● Engage; work with key internal and external partners in a matrixed relationship for C&B, Staffing,
HRSS and the business
● Operate independently; ensure employee satisfaction & development of the team. Train, mentor and lead HR initiatives and best Practices.
● Directly interact with the customer and you should have phenomenal Client Management skills.
● Lead the way in implementing change initiatives related to culture, performance, recognition and
policies.
● Responsible for HR operations, Employee Relations and Business HR teams.
● Promote alignment and collaboration across the organization, driving synergy and perspective,
demonstrate common process and consistent messaging.
● Coach individual managers on growing management capabilities.
● Understand the business and its challenges to help address the organization and people’s ask
● Assist with the change process as the company meets the challenges of hyper-growth and the need to scale.
● Partner with expertise centers to tackle business problems and to executive on corporate-wide talent initiatives
● Deliver short-term solutions while also solving long-term problems by addressing immediate
challenges and underlying causes.
● Use data to measure success: learn, iterate, and improve; analyze trends and develop proactive
actions to further support business objectives.
● Consult legal counsel to ensure that policies, actions comply with Statutory regulations by
government / non-government bodies. Manage, Own and Maintain all communication and records
required for Statutory compliances
● Own/drive HR policies and directives and ensure smooth implementation across the firm. .
Should: 3-4 years of experience Sales HRBP role
Nice: MBA/PGDM from a reputed institute.
