Experience: 15+ years in Fixed Income sales
We are seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Senior Vice President – Fixed Income Sales to drive revenue growth by fostering strong relationships with institutional clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fixed-income products, an established client base, and a proven track record of sales excellence.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, including banks, mutual funds, insurance companies, NBFCs, and corporate treasuries.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored fixed-income solutions.
Sales and Business Development:
- Drive sales of fixed-income instruments such as bonds (government, corporate, municipal), debentures, and treasury bills.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base.
- Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the company’s overall profitability.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated with market trends, interest rate movements, and economic developments.
- Provide clients with timely market insights and actionable investment strategies.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the research and trading teams to align strategies and enhance client offerings.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure all transactions adhere to regulatory standards.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare and present sales performance reports and market updates to senior management.
- Monitor and analyze client portfolios to recommend optimization strategies.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Proven experience in fixed-income sales with a strong network in the institutional client segment.
- In-depth knowledge of fixed-income products, credit analysis, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate market trends and client needs.
