As we continue expanding, we are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandising Executive to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide detailed information on merchandise.
- Offer personalised product recommendations to meet customer needs.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
Sales and Product Knowledge:
- Achieve daily and weekly sales targets by actively engaging with customers and promoting products.
- Stay informed about current products, promotions, and store policies.
- Promote and sell additional products and services such as warranties or memberships.
Store Presentation and Merchandising:
- Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing.
- Restock shelves, replenish merchandise, and maintain accurate product displays.
- Assist in receiving shipments and properly organising stock rooms.
Cash Handling and Transactions:
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle customer payments and ensure proper procedures are followed.
- Balance the cash register at the end of shifts and ensure all transactions are recorded properly.
Team Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and ensure smooth store operations.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on store policies and product knowledge.
- Assist with special promotions, in-store events, or other sales activities as required.
Qualification:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior retail experience will be plus point.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash or processing transactions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
