**Sales Associate - Home Decor**
**(KRAs) of Sales Associate**:

- **Customer Engagement**: Greet and welcome customers with a friendly attitude.

Understand customer needs and preferences.Assist customers in product selection and provide product information.Offer exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- **Sales Target Achievement**: Take ownership of individual sales targets.

Utilize sales techniques to drive revenue and meet/exceed targets.Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales opportunities.
- **Product Knowledge**: Develop a comprehensive understanding of all products offered in the store.

Stay updated with product features, benefits, and pricing.Explain product details to customers accurately.
- **Store Presentation**: Maintain a neat and organized store appearance.

Ensure products are well-displayed and visually appealing.Restock shelves and arrange merchandise as needed.
- **POS Operations**: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.

Handle cash and credit card transactions securely.Issue receipts and ensure proper documentation.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction.Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to the store manager.

Conduct stock checks and assist in inventory replenishment.
- **Teamwork**: Collaborate with fellow sales team members and provide support as needed.

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve sales performance.**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the home decor industry, is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays as needed.
