Job Post:- Assistant Manager - Human Resource: Experience: 6-8 years

Location:- Ahmedabad (Hybrid Model)

The Assistant Manager – Human Resources will be responsible for managing the complete HR lifecycle of company. This includes talent acquisition, learning & development, employee engagement, and HR operations. The role demands a proactive, hands-on HR professional who can independently execute and improve processes in line with organizational growth and global HR practices.You will serve as the go-to HR resource for the leadership and employees, ensuring alignment between business goals and people practices.

Talent Acquisition

Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, scheduling, offer negotiation, and onboarding

Utilize job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and agency partners to attract high-quality talent

Build and maintain an active talent pool for future hiring needs

Own pre-onboarding and induction processes to ensure smooth candidate experience

Learning & Development (L&D)

Conduct training need analysis (TNA) in collaboration with department heads

Partner with external trainers, certification bodies, and learning platforms for capability-building initiatives

Track training effectiveness through post-program feedback and performance metrics

HR Operations

Oversee payroll inputs, attendance tracking, and leave management in coordination with Finance

Manage statutory compliance support (PF, PT, ESI, etc.) Handle employee grievances, policy queries, and HR helpdesk responsibilities

Ensure smooth offboarding experience including exit interviews, F&F coordination, and documentation

Plan and implement employee engagement initiatives: rewards & recognition, team-building, town halls, etc.

Champion employee well-being and support a positive, inclusive work environment

Drive annual employee feedback surveys and support action planning

Support HR branding and internal campaigns in coordination with the marketing team

HR Policies, Systems & Compliance

Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws

Maintain and update the employee handbook, code of conduct, and HR SOPs

Contribute to HR audits, ISO compliance (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, etc.), Drive automation and continuous improvement across HR processes

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Master's degree / MBA in Human Resources Management or Post-Graduate Diploma in HR (PGDHRM) from a recognized institute. (Experience:

~6–8 years of progressive experience in HR functions (Recruitment, Operations & L&D)

~ Prior experience in a mid/large sized organization or service-based company preferred

~ Experience working in a standalone or lead HR role is an advantage

Strong understanding of recruitment, payroll basics, labour laws, and HR processes

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and employee relationship management skills

Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms, Excel, and document management tools

Strong planning, time management, and multitasking abilities

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Time to hire and quality of hires

Training completion rate and feedback scores

Accuracy of HR operations and compliance documentation

Completion of audits and HR reporting
