Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and ambitious Sales Director – North America to lead our efforts in scaling revenue and driving growth in the North American market. The role is based in Bangalore, India, but requires extensive travel to North America, especially New York.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of scaling Saa S businesses to $10 M ARR and beyond, combined with the ability to build strong client relationships, manage a high-performing sales team, and execute strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Scaling Revenue:
Develop and implement a high-impact sales strategy to achieve $10 M+ ARR in North America.
Own and drive the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing, ensuring predictable growth.
Market Development:
Identify and prioritize opportunities in key industries, customer segments, and regions within North America.
Build and expand relationships with enterprise-level customers, particularly in key markets like New York.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team based in Bangalore, with a focus on delivering results in the North American market.
Foster a results-oriented, customer-first sales culture.
Travel and Client Engagement:
Frequently travel to North America, particularly New York, to engage with clients, close high-value deals, and attend key industry events.
Sales Operations and Enablement:
Implement best practices for pipeline management, sales enablement, and CRM utilization (e.g., Hubspot).
Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and alignment with company goals.
Collaboration Across Teams:
Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align strategies and optimize customer experience.
Provide feedback on market trends to inform product development and positioning.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 10 years in Saa S sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of scaling a Saa S company to $10 M ARR or beyond.
Strong experience in mid-market and enterprise sales in North America.
Skills:
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in sales tools like Salesforce and data-driven decision-making.
Ability to navigate and excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing sales teams.
Strong mentoring and coaching skills to develop a results-driven team.
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of Saa S sales strategies, account-based marketing (ABM), and growth hacks.
Familiarity with AI-driven tools and the e Commerce industry is a plus.
