Job Title: Technical Developer – Team Lead Experience: 5 to 10 years Location: Chennai (On-site) About the Role: Elephant in the Boardroom is hiring a Technical Developer Team Lead with strong multi-stack expertise and the capability to drive disciplined project execution. The role involves leading developers across MERN, Drupal, and PHP, overseeing delivery quality, and ensuring cloud-aligned solutions on Azure. Experience in AI projects will be an advantage, as we have already started working on our first AI project and are in the process of establishing our dedicated AI company. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a multi-stack development team (MERN, Drupal, PHP). Architect and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. Conduct systematic code reviews and uphold engineering best practices. Manage teams and workflows through JIRA, ensuring clear planning and tracking. Take complete responsibility for project deadlines, sprint outcomes, and team performance. Resolve complex technical issues efficiently and provide clear direction to the team. Work closely with design, QA, DevOps, and project management to ensure smooth delivery. Engage with clients and stakeholders to refine and translate business requirements. Oversee Azure deployments and ensure alignment with cloud architecture standards. Contribute technical insights to support the organisation’s growing AI initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5–10 years of hands-on experience in MERN, Drupal, and PHP. Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, deployment pipelines, and cloud architecture. Proven experience in leading development teams and managing delivery. Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and scalable architecture patterns. Solid proficiency in JIRA for task allocation, sprint planning, and project monitoring. Strong debugging, optimisation, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strict deadline discipline. Effective communication, client management, and cross-team internal stakeholder-handling skills. Good to Have: • Experience working on AI/ML-based projects. • Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, or DevOps methodologies. • Understanding of application security and hardening best practices. To Apply:
