Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of warehouse staff.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Task Management: Assign tasks efficiently, monitor task execution, and ensure timely completion.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Training & Development: Train new employees, conduct refresher training, and foster continuous team improvement.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions.
  • Process Adherence: Ensure compliance with organizational processes, policies, and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Efficiency Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Safety Compliance: Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, other departments, and management.

Skills and Experience:

  • Warehouse Operations: Proven experience in warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, and order fulfillment.
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a well-organized workspace.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, with relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management.
