Role Overview

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll be an essential part of our go-to-market strategy, working directly with our GTM leadership. This role is perfect for someone starting their career who wants to break into B2B SaaS sales. You'll learn the fundamentals of tech sales while working with cutting-edge technology in the DevOps/SRE space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through various prospecting methods
  • Manage inbound leads and conduct outbound prospecting activities
  • Research potential clients and identify key stakeholders
  • Create and maintain detailed prospect records in our CRM
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between prospects and sales team
  • Follow up systematically with potential clients
  • Assist in maintaining and nurturing client relationships
  • Support GTM initiatives and campaigns
  • Track and report on all sales activities and results

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of technology and eagerness to learn about SaaS/DevOps
  • Proficiency with CRM tools
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Prior internship experience in sales or customer-facing roles
  • Knowledge of B2B sales processes
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools
  • Experience with CRM systems
