Job Summary :
We are looking for a highly skilled and analytical Revenue Manager to oversee and maximize the hotel’s revenue through effective pricing strategies, inventory control, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by analyzing market trends, monitoring competition, and implementing strategies to optimize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR) across all channels. This role requires close collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment with the hotel’s financial goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to optimize room revenue, Rev PAR (Revenue Per Available Room), and profitability.
Monitor and analyze market demand, trends, and competitor pricing to adjust hotel rates and inventory availability.
Forecast room demand and occupancy levels to ensure optimal pricing across all distribution channels (OTA, GDS, direct bookings, etc.).
Manage room inventory and pricing strategies on various distribution platforms to ensure consistent revenue generation.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance analysis, presenting actionable insights to senior management.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop promotions, packages, and special offers based on demand trends.
Stay informed of industry trends, pricing models, and new technology to continually refine revenue management processes.
Ensure the property management system (PMS) and revenue management system (RMS) are updated with accurate data.
Analyze group and transient business to identify opportunities for increasing profitability.
Monitor booking pace, lead times, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to recommend revenue-enhancing strategies.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or a related field.
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in hotel revenue management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of revenue management principles, pricing strategies, and distribution channels.
Proficient in hotel management systems, revenue management software (RMS), and Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various teams.
Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and inventory management.
Knowledge of key hotel metrics such as Rev PAR, ADR, and occupancy rates is essential.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
