About the Role:

The Revenue Management Executive will be responsible for delivering revenue targets within the competitive airline industry. This will involve using various pricing and inventory optimization methods to maximize revenue opportunities for IndiGo.

Responsibilities:

• Meet monthly revenue targets

• Manage pricing using various methods

• Optimize flight inventory to ensure revenue maximization

• Ensure competitive fare availability

• Manage demand on a flight-by-flight basis

• Ensure overbooking is economically viable

• Report on overbooking volumes

• Manage no-shows and spoilt revenue

• Report on booking trends and forecast revenue

• Manage and update RM systems at IndiGo

• Use business intelligence to position IndiGo competitively

• Comprehensive reporting of competitor activity

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate in any stream with a passion for numbers
  • At least 1 year's experience in analyst role in Revenue Management or similar role
  • Excellent Excel, mathematical, and analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make pricing decisions
  • Good written, oral communications, and presentation skills
  • Self-directed with a passion for delivering results
  • Pricing, inventory management experience is an added advantage
  • Experience of Navitaire Reservation System is an added advantage
