Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to oversee our sales operations throughout Kerala. The ideal candidate will be from the building materials industry (plywood and hardware, laminates, paint, cement, etc.) and will be responsible for driving growth, managing a high-performance sales team, and establishing strong customer relationships to expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets across the Kerala region.
Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals, setting goals and ensuring they meet targets.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, dealers, architects, and contractors.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
Prepare and monitor sales forecasts, budgets, and reports.
Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations for the sales team to enhance productivity and skill development.
Work closely with the marketing team to align on campaigns, promotions, and brand positioning strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in the building materials industry (plywood, laminates, paint, cement, etc.).
Strong understanding of the Kerala market, with existing relationships in the industry preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
