This is not a typical "sales" role — it is about concept selling , brand storytelling , and creating trust in boardrooms . It is about consultative selling, brand storytelling, and creating trust in boardrooms. Success depends on the ability to proactively reach out through networks, LinkedIn, industry events, and referrals, while shaping every conversation around the client's brand and business challenges. It is expected that the New Business Lead will diagnose problems, frame BBT as the right solution partner, and craft compelling narratives that connect branding to measurable growth outcomes.
Once conversations are opened, the person will anchor pitches and proposals with our strategy and creative teams, and take responsibility for converting them into live engagements. Ownership of the pipeline and quarterly acquisition targets is central to the role, along with tracking competitor moves and industry trends and feeding those insights back into the leadership team.
We are seeking someone with six to ten years of experience in business development for branding, advertising, consulting, or creative industries. The ideal profile is someone who has already proven success in acquiring new logos rather than only farming existing accounts. A good personal network in marketing and brand circles will be an advantage.
In the first ninety days, success will look like building a target list of 50 to 100 prospects, setting up discovery conversations, sharpening the pitch with leadership, and converting at least two to three new accounts into live projects. By the end of the first quarter, the person should be consistently opening high-quality conversations with CXO-level prospects and delivering on agreed revenue targets.
