Role Overview: As an Inbound Marketing Journalist at Learn Rush, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our content and editorial strategies to attract, engage, and delight our audience. You will produce narrative-driven, research-based stories that resonate with learning and development professionals, HR leaders, and organizational stakeholders. Your contributions will include a range of high-quality materials—from top-of-funnel articles and thought leadership interviews to in-depth guides, whitepapers, and multimedia content—that support our inbound marketing methodology. This position combines journalistic rigor with a marketer’s mindset to build trust, generate qualified leads, and position Learn Rush as a thought leader in the LXP and corporate learning space. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Storytelling: Research, write, and edit original, high-quality articles, feature stories, case studies, and long-form resources focused on learning technologies, corporate training best practices, and industry trends. Employ strong storytelling techniques and SEO best practices to create content that both informs and inspires, guiding prospects through various stages of the buyer’s journey. Thought Leadership & Credibility Building: Interview industry experts, influencers, and Learn Rush clients to produce content that reflects depth, expertise, and authenticity. Deliver content that positions Learn Rush as a trusted advisor in the fields of LXP solutions, corporate learning strategies, and organizational development. Editorial Alignment with Inbound Marketing: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop editorial calendars and content plans that support inbound marketing campaigns. Ensure all published content aligns with an inbound approach—educating, assisting, and guiding readers instead of overtly promoting. Performance Tracking & Optimization: Monitor key performance metrics (e.g., website traffic, engagement, share rate, conversion metrics) to evaluate content effectiveness. Use insights from analytics to refine editorial focus, optimize keyword strategies, and continuously enhance content relevance and quality. Brand Voice & Integrity: Maintain a consistent editorial voice that reflects Learn Rush’s commitment to innovation, expertise, and the transformative power of learning. Uphold journalistic standards of accuracy, fairness, and trustworthiness, ensuring all content is well-researched, factual, and credible. Qualifications & Skills: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in journalism, content marketing, or editorial roles, preferably with a focus on B2 B, technology, or corporate learning. Journalistic & Writing Skills: Exceptional writing and editing capabilities, with a proven track record of published work that demonstrates strong storytelling and clarity. Strong research skills, including interviewing experts and fact-checking complex information. Marketing & SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with inbound marketing principles, SEO best practices, keyword research, and content marketing strategies. Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and content management systems (e.g., Word Press). Collaboration & Adaptability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and design teams. Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and adaptable to evolving brand, industry, and audience needs.
