Overview of the position
The Branch Manager role will involve managing day to day activity of the current business in the country including managing partnerships, quality, shipments and logistics. It’s a well-rounded role that gives the experience of developing a high potential business in one of the major growing origins.
Key Accountability Areas
Business Operations
Design, implement and manage the strategy for Rubber in the country with the respective teams below him/her to drive and deliver volume & profitability as per the overall business plan.
Ensure systems are in place to eliminate controllable losses and minimize the impact of non-controllable losses
Ensure shipments OTIF > 85%
Finance
Counterparty/Credit Exposure
Pricing Strategies
Forwards / Future/ Hedging
Working Capital Management
Stakeholder Management
Help & support business head to make trading management decisions by providing adequate and timely market information
Develop & manage the stakeholder partnerships
Ensure high motivational levels in the team and get the team aligned with the overall strategy that we follow in the country
Interface with appropriate regulatory bodies for obtaining permissions, approvals, etc.
Desired experience
Proven experience in managing, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain or Distribution role in emerging markets.
Qualification- MBA from Tier 1 institute or equivalent with 4-6 years of experience.
Exposure to Micro & Macroeconomic factor of business environment would be preferable.
A strong conceptual and analytical bend of mind to operate in international business environment.

Be resilient and be able to overcome challenges whilst remaining calm and collected
Have an ownership mindset Although there are some shared common support teams, the role is personally accountable for managing key accounts. Customer and stakeholder management must therefore be of the highest order.
