Our client is developing the next generation of high-performance e-powertrain systems that will change the electric vehicles market and we are seeking for an experienced Sales Account Manager in India. Roles and responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in electric 2 W, 3 W and 4 W market segment. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, dealers, and distributors. Collaborate with finance, operations, and technical teams to understand product specifications and effectively communicate them to potential clients. Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and proactive sales initiatives. Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies. Requirements: Academic business degree or a related field ( BE or B. Tech). Engineering background (must have) 7+ years of experience in sales/account management. Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably in the automotive or electrification industry. Proven track record in successful B2 B sales of complex multidisciplinary systems Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and fostering client relationships. Familiarity with motors, Motor controllers in 2 W/3 W/4 W industry. Understanding of 2 W, 3 W and 4 W (e-LCV) markets in India, with a focus on motor controllers. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Proactive, results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership. Self-motivated, hard-working, and able to work independently with a strong sales drive. Fast learner, good interpersonal, and presentation skills.
