About Our Client: A premium lifestyle brand specializing in high-quality leather goods and accessories, offering products like handbags, wallets, and travel essentials. Combining craftsmanship with contemporary design, it focuses on creating timeless, functional, and sustainable pieces for discerning customers. Job Description: As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for defining and executing our overall marketing strategy. You will lead a team of marketers, manage multi-channel campaigns, and build brand awareness to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, creativity, and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is data-driven, customer-obsessed, and has a proven track record of scaling D2 C brands. Key Areas of Responsibility: 1. Strategic Planning & Brand Positioning o Define the brand’s strategic positioning, ensuring alignment with our mission and values. o Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and loyalty. o Establish clear goals, KPIs, and reporting structures to measure the impact of marketing efforts. 2. Performance Marketing o Oversee all digital marketing channels (paid social, search, email, SEO, etc.) to ensure consistent growth. o Develop, execute, and optimize data-driven campaigns to maximize ROAS and conversion rates. o Work closely with the analytics team to assess campaign performance and continuously refine strategies. 3. Customer Acquisition & Retention o Drive customer acquisition strategies to expand our audience and increase brand reach. o Develop and implement retention marketing programs, including CRM, email, and loyalty initiatives, to enhance customer lifetime value. o Leverage customer insights to build personalized and engaging campaigns that drive customer loyalty. 4. Content & Creative Development o Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling content that resonates with our target audience. o Oversee content strategy across all platforms (social, blog, website, etc.) to ensure cohesive storytelling. o Ensure all creative assets align with brand guidelines and reinforce our unique value proposition. 5. Revenue o Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy for D2 C, that aligns with business goals. o Own the revenue forecasting and planning process, including setting targets and identifying growth levers. Collaborate closely with product, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives. 6. Market Research & Competitor Analysis o Conduct ongoing market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitive activity. o Use data insights to identify new growth opportunities and refine the brand’s positioning. o Ensure we are at the forefront of customer trends, particularly in the D2 C space. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Exceptional storytelling and creative thinking skills. 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role within a D2 C or e-commerce brand. Proven track record of building and executing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns. Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and performance marketing metrics. Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset; experience with CRM and marketing automation tools is a plus. Experience managing and developing a marketing team. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Passionate about the D2 C space, with a customer-first mentality and a deep understanding of the digital landscape.
