Job Description Technical Program Manager (Candidates must be available to align with U. S. time zones for work hours) About Nference: At n Ference Labs, the "Google of Biomedicine" (See nference.ai/media ), where we are building the world's first large-scale computational platform for reverse engineering biology. Just as 20th-century science comprised of the deconstruction of physics unlocking all the engineering and tech applications we are so familiar with, this century is witnessing the deconstruction or reverse engineering of biological systems to unlock all kinds of medical and wellness applications. n Ference is one of the few companies with the data, funding, people, and tech to make significant initial forays into this 21st-century endeavor. Our platform is premised on using AI and high-performance computing to connect clinical observations (phenotypes) to DNA-level phenomena (genotypes); in the process helps unravel biology, as well as help pharma companies, perform faster and more efficient drug discovery, and help early diagnosis of several key diseases. Our team is a blend of computer scientists and domain experts (biology and medical MDs, and Ph Ds from premier universities), and we provide an exciting open fast-paced dynamic workplace designed to foster innovative solutions. Required experience and skills: Minimum of 3-9 yrs of experience in the IT industry. At least 3 yrs of experience in project management, with the ownership of end-to-end delivery of the projects. At least 3 yrs of experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Customer facing experience with good communication. Experience coordinating with the clients, gather requirements, being SPOC for all the projects under the program. Experience using project management methodologies (such as Agile) and tools (such as JIRA, Confluence). Experience preparing status reports and decks for the leadership and client presentations. Experience in people management and performance reviews of the team. Ability to keep the team motivated and create an amicable environment to nurture innovation using latest technologies to achieve the project/product milestones. Ability to handle ad-hoc tasks/requests and juggle between priorities for the projects. Ability to understand high level product architecture, experience working closely with technical teams. Technical experience of using Python / R language with No SQL DB for data engineering/analytics related projects. Desired experience and skills: Experience in managing the data engineering / analytics / machine learning projects or products Technical experience of using Python / R language with No SQL DB for data engineering/analytics related projects good to have.
