Job Title : Technical Program Manager (Data-Oriented)

Experience: 13+ years

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Program Manager who is passionate about data and has a track record of delivering complex technical programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of technical programs and projects related to data management, data analysis, and data-driven decision-making with a specific focus on IoT devices. This role will require strong technical, program management, communication, and customer-facing skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and deliver technical programs and projects related to data management, data analysis, and data-driven decision-making with a specific focus on IoT devices.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify new data-driven opportunities and provide technical guidance on implementation.
  • Provide regular updates to customers on project progress and ensure that customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Engage with customers to understand their data-related needs related to IoT device monitoring and reporting and translate these into technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk management plans, and communication plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across all levels, including Engineering, Data Science, Product Management, Business Operations, and Executive team, to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
  • Manage project budgets and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure that projects adhere to organizational policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies to optimize project delivery.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program management, preferably in a data-oriented role.
  • Strong technical background in data management, data analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain project plans, manage budgets, and mitigate risks.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL queries in the past.
  • Customer-facing experience and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
