Roles and Responsibilities.
Sales Management
Will be responsible for generating new leads, managing the entire sales cycle from Enquiry to order booking, covering sampling, product specification finalisation, trial orders, contracting etc for a spice ingredients business with annual turnover of 25 Million USD.
Responsible for achieving the budgeted sales volume for spice ingredients and private label sales in Export and Domestic markets
Primary target customers – Domestic Food brands, Retailers, Wholesalers, QSRs, Food service companies, Importers, large food companies in destination markets.
Mapping and understanding customer requirements, their specifications, quantity requirements etc and work with QA team to organise sample presentation, trial order preparation
Organise participation of company in various Ingredients trade fairs.
Monthly MIS covering sales pipeline, projects under discussion and expected sales
Relationship management with Key accounts
Collection of receivables as per agreed payment days
The person will handle a total sales portfolio of 200 Cr per annum.
Requirements
MBA with 7-15 years experience in B2B Spice ingredient sales, ( selling spice powders, oleoresins, seasonings etc. to large food companies in India or overseas market)
Strong relationship management skills, existing relationships with leading food companies, retailers, QSR chains etc. will be an added advantage.
Willingness to travel extensively for business development and a passion for innovation
