Job Description

Pacific Foods is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role is integral to our growth and expansion in the global food industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and business development, along with knowledge of the food industry and export operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and connect with potential international clients to expand the company's business network.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to attract new customers.
  • Research and onboard reliable vendors for high-quality food products.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a seamless supply chain.
  • Identify relevant trade fairs and exhibitions globally.
  • Coordinate registrations, plan participation, and follow up with leads post-event.
  • Conduct research to stay updated on global food trends, industry standards, and export opportunities.
  • Monitor competitors and analyze their marketing strategies for insights.
  • Maintain records of marketing activities, client interactions, and vendor agreements.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the management team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the food industry or export operations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
