Job Overview The Head of Compensation, Benefits & Payroll will be responsible for designing and implementing Tessolve’s total rewards and payroll strategy to attract, motivate, and retain top talent globally. The role will oversee compensation structures, benefits programs, payroll governance, and policy frameworks across geographies, ensuring fairness, compliance, and alignment with business goals. You will partner with senior leadership, HRBPs, and finance teams to deliver a best-in-class employee rewards experience and maintain robust payroll and benefits operations. Job Location : Electronic -City, Phase – II, Bangalore What you’ll do 1. Compensation Strategy & Design Develop and implement a comprehensive global compensation and rewards strategy aligned with business and market competitiveness. Establish and maintain job evaluation, salary structures, and pay frameworks across levels and functions. Lead annual compensation review cycles (merit, incentives, and retention programs). 2. Analytics & Benchmarking Conduct compensation and benefits benchmarking to maintain market competitiveness. Provide actionable insights and analytics on cost, pay trends, and workforce data. Support data-driven decision-making for talent and budget planning. 3. Payroll Management Oversee end-to-end payroll operations across all geographies ensuring 100% accuracy, timeliness, and statutory compliance. Partner with finance and HR operations to ensure seamless data integration and process efficiency. Drive automation and standardization of payroll processes, ensuring adherence to internal controls and audit requirements. 4. Benefits & Wellness Programs Design, manage, and evaluate employee benefits programs (insurance, retirement, wellness, and engagement-linked benefits). Conduct periodic benchmarking to ensure benefits remain competitive and cost-effective. Manage benefits vendors and ensure strong governance and service-level compliance. 5. Policy Design & Governance Lead the creation, review, and updation of compensation, benefits, and payroll-related HR policies in line with business objectives and statutory requirements. Ensure clear communication and accessibility of policies to all employees. Work with leadership to align policies with Tessolve’s culture, equity, and inclusion goals. 6. Compliance & Audit Ensure adherence to all local labour laws, taxation, and global compliance requirements. Liaise with internal and external auditors to support payroll and benefits audits. 7. Leadership & Collaboration Collaborate with HR business partners and functional heads to ensure consistent application of C&B principles. Mentor and develop the C&B and payroll team to enhance analytical and operational excellence. Who you are MBA / Master’s degree in HR or related discipline. 15+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a C&B and payroll leadership role. Strong understanding of compensation frameworks, payroll systems, and statutory regulations (India and global). Proven experience with HRMS platforms (preferably Darwinbox or similar). Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
