The Compliance & Contract Management Services Department is looking for a Compliance and Contracts Associate to assess, analyze, draft, review, negotiate and finalize contracts, compliance, invoices and rosters for our in-person programs and perform other duties as needed by the Department. This position requires minimum supervision and partners with the operations and finance departments, as well as third party governmental agencies and location employees. This position requires great attention to detail, strong written and verbal English communication skills, and the ability to engage with staff and third parties (location liaisons, government officials, clients/parents, etc) when needed. Develop and maintain location knowledge base for all assigned locations (i.e. governmental regulations, contract information, costs, etc.). • Establish and maintain relationships with third-parties (university/location liaison, governmental agencies, healthcare consultants, etc.). • Coordinate resources to ensure regulatory and contractual requirements for location are met (e.g. fingerprinting, health and other forms, training, permit and license applications, etc). • Research regulations and location-provider requirements and policies for each assigned location/university. • Implement policies, procedures and work flows to ensure compliance. • Create, coordinate and track all compliance materials as required for each assigned location/university (including required forms for staff and students). Communicate in writing and by phone with clients/parents and staff whose forms are incomplete to obtain missing information. • Reconcile financial information from contracts and invoices sent by location, ensuring that invoiced amounts are accurate and within financial thresholds. • Conduct research and analysis on contract, language, and costs as needed, to evaluate solutions and alternatives for negotiations. • Establish negotiation strategies and facilitate negotiations with Operations to ensure contracts meet company needs seeking the best contract terms possible, taking into consideration risk exposure and risk tolerance. • Assist with updating technology used for Department processes as business needs or goals demand. • Perform continuous quality evaluation and improvement of Department related functions. • Assess, refine, streamline and improve contract and compliance processes to enable, support, and strengthen company operations. 3+ years experience in handling contracts and/or tracking compliance preferably in a business, healthcare or government environment • Strong business document drafting and negotiation skills • Proficient with Google Docs, Word and have a working knowledge of Excel • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; Able to handle multiple projects in a timely manner • Proficient at learning new concepts and tools and applying them effectively with minimal supervision Note: This position requires working normal US timezone business hours.
