Sales Manager

Job Responsibilities:
1. Business Management:
1.1. Responsible for orchestrating effective marketing plans as per company strategy and market condition to achieve the sales targets in the assigned region.
1.2. Responsible for achieving the GP (Gross Profit) assigned to the region.
1.3. Responsible for implementing & monitoring monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans and strategies as per the sales forecast.
1.4. Responsible for the SGA control and Profit & loss of the region.
1.5. Responsible for efficient key account management and planning.
1.6. Identify new customers and maintain the relationships with the existing customers in the assigned region.
1.7. Collaborate with the team leaders and Industry manager for inputs related to budget and submit it to Industry head.
2. Team Management:
2.1. Responsible for performance of the team by monitoring / reviewing targets assigned to the team.
2.2. Develop the capability and skills of team members to enhance productivity of the team.
2.3. To retain high potential members via team engagement and recognition.
3. Partner management/ Stake holder management:
3.1. CP (Channel Partner) management / System integrators / SOP (Solution partners)/ distributors in consultation with Channel Management Department (CMD).
3.2. Direct customer/CP Credit term and credit limit control for the region in consultation with the CMD
3.3 Develop & maintain good relationship with Customers and Channel Partners
3.4. Co-ordinate and build positive relationships with other department/s of Omron to deliver the best services as per the commitment given to the customer, in-line with the customer expectations.
4. Data Management and Analysis:
4.1. Maintain and analyze region and industry-specific data as per business needs.
4.2. Prepare various MIS reports, presentations, etc. as per requirements.

Job Requirements:
Educational Qualification:
A Bachelor's in engineering OR an equivalent diploma is a must.
MBA in any stream will be an added advantage.
Work Experience :
Minimum of 17+ years of experience in the industrial automation sales domain is a must.
With experience in managing a cross-functional team of a minimum 10 members or more
Experience of minimum 3 years in Decision-making role
Experience of minimum 3 years in managing GP/ P&L responsibilities
.
Functional Skills:
Market/Customer/Competitor knowledge of region and industry within the industrial automation domain
Experience in dealing with OEM's and End User customers in across segments into the factory Automation domain.
Experience in managing Channel Partners, Direct Customers, and System Integrators.
Should have good presentation skills and negotiation skills
Good working knowledge of MS Office, and Excel.
Good Communication & Presentation skills with an eye for details.
Sense of Urgency, target oriented and dedicate extra hours if needed on assignments.
Travel Requirements:
Needs to travel across for business purposes.
