A Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing existing and new customer relationships. They work closely with clients and prospects to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction while driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts.
Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.
Sales Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales revenue and pipeline activity.
Opportunity Management: Identify, qualify, and pursue sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize revenue and profitability.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to sell additional products or services to existing customers.
Sales Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to management.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams, marketing, and customer support to achieve sales goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in Telecom industry. .
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications (if applicable)
Experience in handling Fortune 500 clients in North America market.
Certifications in sales or sales management.
