Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sponsorship Sales Manager to lead efforts in securing sponsorships for our events, programs, and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be adept at building relationships, developing compelling sponsorship proposals, and driving revenue through creative and strategic sales approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
Sponsorship Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and secure sponsorship opportunities from corporations, brands, and other partners aligned with the organization's goals and events.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with sponsors to ensure their long-term engagement and satisfaction.
Proposal Development: Design and present tailored sponsorship packages that address client objectives and align with event themes.
Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
Collaboration: Work closely with event, marketing, and content teams to deliver sponsor commitments and enhance partner experiences.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities for sponsorship growth.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue performance using CRM tools.
Post-Event Engagement: Ensure delivery of sponsor benefits and provide post-event reports to demonstrate ROI.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in sponsorship sales, corporate partnerships, or business development (3-5 years preferred).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong relationship-building capabilities with a focus on client satisfaction.
Ability to create compelling sponsorship proposals and deliver persuasive pitches.
Target-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics.
Knowledge of event management and marketing is a plus.
