JOB SUMMARYResponsible for the overall management of the site supervision team to ensure smooth progress of works and keep the Project Management updated with all activities.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSResponsible for overall field contract management, administration and coordination.Ensure that the contractor's works are monitored and controlled in accordance with design specifications and contract Documents.Ensure monitoring on the quality of materials and workmanships installed, operated and maintained.Liaise with client, Project Management and contractor of resolution of project issues, in addition to concerned Authorities when requiredSupervise, review, monitor and report on progress.Liaise with all parties for site safety.Monitor assigned staff and implement on site procedures to assist them performing their work efficiently.Maintain awareness of contracts financial status.Coordinate for final approval to work and arrange handover.FUNCTIONAL QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in civil engineeringExperienceMinimum of 10 years of experience on large commercial projects involving infrastructural and building design, with knowledge of codes, design manuals and construction practices.Ability to interpret complex contract documents including plans, specifications, shop drawings.Ability to make decisions and recommendations on significant engineering problems and review drawings, specifications and installation for constructability.Demonstrated ability to collect data to brief Client on project issues and provide possible resolutions in addition to reviewing and drafting responses to correspondence.Advance negotiation and presentation skills.Licenses and CertificatesAutoCAD, Ms Project, MS office
