Job Title: Site Project Manager

The primary role of the Site Project Manager involves overseeing the overall management of the site supervision team to ensure seamless project progress and keep stakeholders updated on all activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Contract Administration: This entails effective management of contracts, including administration, coordination, and compliance with established guidelines.
  • Worksite Monitoring: The Site Project Manager is responsible for closely monitoring contractor work against design specifications and contract documents to ensure adherence to set standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring that materials and workmanship meet quality expectations is a critical aspect of this role.
  • Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Facilitating communication between clients, project management teams, and contractors to resolve project issues efficiently.
  • Progress Oversight: Supervising, reviewing, and reporting on project progress to ensure it stays on track.
  • Safety Coordination: Coordinating and implementing site safety procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Staff Supervision: Overseeing assigned staff and implementing on-site procedures to enhance work efficiency.
  • Financial Awareness: Maintaining awareness of project financial status, ensuring smooth budget execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing large commercial projects involving infrastructure and building design.
  • Ability to interpret complex contract documents, including plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Strong decision-making and recommendation skills for significant engineering problems.
  • Data collection and analysis skills for briefing clients on project issues and presenting possible resolutions.
  • Advanced negotiation and presentation skills.

Certifications and Licenses:

AutoCAD, Ms Project, MS Office.
