Site Project Manager - Infrastructure Expert

Job Summary

The Site Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall management of site supervision teams to ensure smooth progress of works and keeping project stakeholders informed about activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage field contracts, administration, and coordination.
  • Monitor contractors' works according to design specifications and contract documents.
  • Ensure quality control of materials and workmanship.
  • Liaise with clients, project managers, and contractors for issue resolution.
  • Supervise, review, monitor, and report on project progress.
  • Ensure site safety and coordinate with all parties involved.
  • Monitor assigned staff and implement on-site procedures to assist them in performing their work efficiently.
  • Maintain awareness of project finances.
  • Coordinate final approval to work and arrange handover.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience on large commercial projects involving infrastructural and building design.
  • Ability to interpret complex contract documents, including plans, specifications, shop drawings.
  • Ability to make decisions and recommendations on significant engineering problems and review drawings, specifications, and installation for constructability.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect data to brief clients on project issues and provide possible resolutions, in addition to reviewing and drafting responses to correspondence.
  • Advanced negotiation and presentation skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office.
