Job Overview

The Site Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the site supervision team to ensure seamless project execution and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective contract administration, coordination, and field management.
  • Monitoring contractor performance against design specifications and contractual obligations.
  • Ensuring quality of materials and workmanship through regular inspection and maintenance.
  • Collaborating with clients, project managers, and contractors to resolve project-related issues efficiently.
  • Supervising and reviewing progress reports, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Coordinating site safety protocols to minimize risks and hazards.
  • Overseeing assigned staff and implementing on-site procedures for optimal productivity.
  • Maintaining awareness of project financial status and adjusting strategies accordingly.

Functional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience on large commercial projects involving infrastructure and building design.
  • Ability to interpret complex contract documents, including plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Strong decision-making and recommendation skills for critical engineering problems.
  • Compiling data to brief clients on project issues and providing potential solutions.
  • Advanced negotiation and presentation skills.

Certifications and Licenses:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
